Due to covid-19, all events on city park property have been canceled or postponed until further notice.

We have held out hope that we would be able to pull something off; even if it was scaled back from the norm. Unfortunately it is now clear, and in hindsight probably has been for some time, that we must cancel our activities. With governor brown’s directive to cancel large gatherings through september, the school grounds being closed, and very slim chances of getting approval to close the roads for the parade we are painted into a corner. We also could not pull off our event without the massive volunteer efforts of our community, the multnomah county sheriff’s office, and the citizen’s patrol. With the schedules and availability of these groups in question over the coming months we are left with no other choice, and there is unfortunately no way for us to pull our events off safely.

Join the artists on courthouse square and chalk alley at one of the newest additions to festival, chalk full of fun on the square. Artists of all levels will be creating their masterpieces on july 3 and 4.

Join the masons rio blanco lodge #80 af&am for pancakes on the courthouse lawn from 7:00am-9:30am. It’s $10 per plate all you can eat! the biggest proportion of funds achieved go to scholarships to graduating seniors from meeker and rangely schools. The chamber hosts events to strengthen community development and connect our citizens with our businesses.

It has been very difficult for the dedicated volunteers of seward, nebraska to announce that the seward fourth of july celebration committee and the city of seward are cancelling the 2020 seward fourth of july festival. This was a very difficult decision to make, as the event is our community identity and our festival brings in thousands of people. We wish to keep our community and our guests safe and so we felt we had to do what is right and cancel the seward fourth of july celebration 2020.

The all-volunteer fredericksburg fourth of july community parade and patriotic program committee has made the decision to withdraw their application to the city of fredericksburg to hold a parade/reverse parade on july 4th. This action effectively cancels the fourth of july parade in any format for 2020. After significant consideration, research and polling of previous parade participants, it was determined there was insufficient interest in the reverse parade format as approved by the fredericksburg city council on june 15 to produce a viable event. For the past two months, the committee has invested significant time and resources into research, planning, and efforts to hold a parade in some format, but in the end, cancellation became the most viable option.

How do i register? register at dorr township hall how much does it cost? non profit organizations are free, but still need to be registered. For profit companies are $50. If you belong to the dba (dorr business association) it's also free, but you still need to be registered. Directional traffic for parade line up. Parade line up —line up at afton marina on a first come first serve basis. Be in place starting at 9:00 and no later than 11:30. Parade starts at 12:30 sharp parade vehicles, trailers or wagons — limited to a max width of 8’ 6”. Any vehicles exceeding that width will not be allowed to participate in the parade and will be asked to leave the parade.
