These charming free vintage valentine clip art images feature the usual cherubs, vintage valentine flowers and valentine hearts , but their also are a few more unusual ones. There are a man and woman sitting in one of those paper moons that used to be so popular as photographic backdrops, a couple smoking, a clown, a train made out of flowers, lovebirds in a rosebush, a queen of hearts and a woman whose head seems to be encased in a net-covered heart!.

Welcome to the first int'l bloggers club challenge of 2020 and we are starting the year with a vintage valentine theme. For the last week, we've been in a deep freeze here in the canadian prairies. In fact last wednesday our temperatures were recorded as the coldest place on earth! at -37. 8 °c (-36. 04 ℉) the last thing i wanted to do was venture outdoors to buy craft supplies. So i shopped my home instead to make this romantic vintage-style heart hanger.

Vintage Valentines 1940s & 1950s

We had our annual valentine day gift for friend valentine day present for guys unique valentine gift for her s exchange party last week and it was so much fun! i chose a vintage valentine theme and ran wild with it! here is the dessert table i had set up-the kids were actually really good around it and only snitched candy off of it a few times without permission…. Ok, those were my kids. 😉.

Hey friends! happy monday!! i don’t know about you, but i need all the coffee this morning!!! there is just something about monday’s that makes me tired. But i’m thankful for another week and i’m ready to get some things checked off of my list. To start off my week, i’m joining some friends to share some vintage valentine decor with you all.

I always enjoy making valentine’s day sewing projects. There are so many fun valentines sewing ideas out there! i thought i’d share a few that i’ve made in the past as well as update the list of some of my favorite ideas for valentines quilts and sewing projects. This mini quilt  is called down memory lane and i’m using this pattern from aqua paisley studio. I loved pulling red fabrics that are sentimental favorites. I used all of the reds from my 3 fabric collections ( gingham girls , sunnyside ave , and gretel ) to make it a mini record of sorts (the name for the quilt pattern is perfect). As is the background fabric – it’s the red blossom from christopher thompson’s new collection of blenders called (appropriately) blossom.

7 Love and Date Night Clipart!

Though it is the day of love, prepping for valentine's day can get pretty stressful. From planning the perfect (affordable) date night or the galentine's party of the year to putting together an adorably festive valentine's outfit , it's tough not to feel overwhelmed, whether you're flying solo or in a relationship.

Print out your the vintage valentine images on a letter-sized sheet of paper. Do not scale the image. Print at 100 percent. Each printable includes pale blue folding lines. Use the bone folder and scoring board to score each line. If you don’t have a scoring pad or bone folder, don’t feel you have to run out and buy them. But they will help you get nice, crisp creases, and they definitely makes folding the bags easier.
